Recognising the need to build sustainable resources, our key thrust areas for CSR are: Water conservation, Waste management, Recycling, Promote waste to energy & renewable energy, Preserve archaeological & historical sites and Support technology incubators at academic institutions.

Our focus on water, renewables, recycling, waste management, tree plantation and biodiversity enhancement, sustainable livelihood and clean up projects involve DCBians, volunteers and partnerships with beneficiaries in communities across India.

DCBians are driven by genuine passion to care for vulnerable communities. Climate change, scarcity of good clean and usable water, microplastics, landfills…we see it, we feel it, we act on it…in sync with the CSR thematic areas. Our partners in the field, the beneficiaries with their keen involvement at the start of a programme ensure ownership, sustainability and viability for the long term.

CSR Thrust Area

Over many years we haver been driven in bringing impactful changes in the life of the citizens of our country. DCB Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects and activities mainly focus on environment, climate change and sustainable livelihood. The Banks’s sustainability imperatives are also aligned to the principle of Business Responsibility of our thrust areas that includes water & protection of water resources, recycling, waste management, renewable energy & waste to energy, protecting and preservation of archaeological and heritage sites in India.
