Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE) platform to facilitate Direct Benefit Transfer to citizens of India. BASE shall enable citizens conduct the following activities online – no Bank branch visit is required.

a) Aadhaar seeding in bank account
b) Check Aadhaar seeding status with bank account
c) Aadhaar de-seeding linkage from a bank account 
d) Move Aadhaar from one bank to another

Steps to access the BASE platform:

• Step 1: Click the URL https://www.npci.org.in/
• Step 2: Click the Consumer tab
• Step 3: Click Bharat Aadhaar Seeding Enabler (BASE)
• Step 4: Manage your preferences and seed Aadhaar with the bank account you prefer to receive Direct Benefits

Note: Please remember that the service options in BASE may be utilised by those whose Aadhaar number is linked with their Savings account.
