- You have the option to pay tax without logging in on the portal, as pre-login. Here, in the e-pay tax section, enter your PAN/TAN along with your Mobile Number and OTP. This section allows you to initiate certain types of Direct Tax transactions. You can access this pre-login section through this link: https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login.
- Alternatively, you can also access the log-in section by entering your PAN/TAN and password. This section enables you to initiate all types of Direct Tax transactions. You can reach the login section by clicking this link: https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices/#/login.
- Fill in your details by choosing the appropriate tax payment details, the assessment year, type of payment, and amount etc.
